"Peony" 8x8

Oil On Hardboard 8”x 8”

Like the hydrangea the peony has a wild petal structure and subtle color changes. I think that is what drew me to it. This variety of peony was a real challenge to paint. It wore me out. Think it will be a while before I paint another.
