"Hydrangea" 8x8

Oil On Hardboard 8"x 8"
SOLD

The hydrangea, next to the magnolia is a favorite flower of mine. It is also the most complex flower I have painted. At the beginning of every hydrangea painting I always seem to get lost, but I know from experience with patience I will find my way and hopefully create something beautiful.

I am always blown away by your beautiful paintings and this is no exception. I have been thinking about painting one, but am not ready yet as they are complicated.
This is stunning and the reflection and water is just perfect.

This is magnificent! The hydrangea itself is so beautifully painted, and I love the water under the vase.

Another beauty, M. Your paintings are serene without sacrificing drama!! That feeling of being lost in details is a familiar one -- but you always pull it off.
