"Tulips" 6x6
Oil on Panel 6"x6"SOLD
While I was working on “Tulips” it became apparent to me that this is one of those paintings that works in the intimate 6”x6” format but could also work as a larger scale painting. So tomorrow I will begin that process. This is a complicated painting so I think it may take some time but I feel it will be beautiful 24"x 24".

M, Beautiful composition. My eye kept bouncing around from one tulip to the next. The cellophane across the bottom sends you back up into the center of the image. Really liked the warm gray detail of the largest tulip. Very luminous. Regards.
Wow, I really like your paintings. You have such a clear understanding of value and layering. Such detail for such a small space. I can't wait to see the 24X24. Would it be possible to see the work in progress? I harassed Jelaine into sharing extra photos of her amazing "Berries in a Bowl" painting. Maybe I can do the same with you?
I also love the Die that the two of you attempted for February. Too bad Otto was eaten by the Yeti as I enjoy his take on things.

I think that this painting in 24 x 24" will be more than beautiful, it will be spectacular! It will be worth every minute you put into it. I always enjoy your "white" flowers, or your "white" bowls. you handle these subjects so masterfully!
