Paintings From The Point is a painting blog created to chronicle my progress as a painter. My name is M Collier and though I have lived in and traveled to many places I have comfortably settled on the west coast of California. Each of my painting is done in oils on 3/8" gessoed hardboard panel. All are painted from life. M - This painting succeeds on so many levels. The amorphic water spot mirroring the shape of the glad, the perfectly place half circle, the subtle color and cutting diagonal all make this an exciting work of art. WOW!
