Paintings From The Point is a painting blog created to chronicle my progress as a painter. My name is M Collier and though I have lived in and traveled to many places I have comfortably settled on the west coast of California. Each of my painting is done in oils on 3/8" gessoed hardboard panel. All are painted from life. Wonderful use of light.
I like this one too. I like all your work but I like the ones that deviate from your fruit, and flowers in glass vases. The variety is nice.

Ahhhhh! What a beautiful patina you have on the balls. Interesting structure with the bowl and balls.
I love that this arrangement is smack dab in the middle and still you've managed not to make the painting still and static! There's movement and presence and everything a great painting needs!
